Hi everyone and welcome to my blog The Lily and The Lotus.
Today I am so honored to post my second entry for Delicious Doodles.
Maany of my followers I have learned the sad way are not familiar with all the places I love to play so I am not only going to give the link many times in this post but I hope to share more about Delicious Doodles with you so you can enjoy this fantastic place the wonderful DT's and the friends you will meet or may know already there.

I hope this will help you as to where you would like to begin in this fun experience.

The challenge is "Monochromos" with selective color...black/white and one color.

I used Four  different images on three different project for this
The first image is "Allura"  and  "Angel of Death".
I colored with prisma pencil.

My third image to share with you for this "momochromos" event/challenge is
"Mermaids Revenge"

This too was made on a candy box . The image was colored with prisma pencils and black acrylic paint was used on the box and black ribbons and two small dominos .

I really hope you have enjoyed the images I have share with you made in Black and White and one other color. It is not a difficult challenge and I know you will have a fun time.

Lily and the Lotus and Delicious Doodles New Challenge march 7 2014

Hi there and welcome to my blog. I have some exciting news to share with you. I am a new DT at Delicious Doodles and so proud to be here.
I have a challenge to show you called anything but a card...well after careful thought i said okay we shall do this on a wine bottle.
I put gesso on the wine bottle and let it dry completely. Than I painted the bottle with some Duncan orange acrylic. I colored the beautiful image from Teri Sherman in Prisma pencils The image is called "Mushroom Fairy".Isn't she gorgeous..the image that is lol..
anyway I added fibers and ribbons and was thrilled with the out come. I realized I had made a early Christmas gift for someone..needed some bubble bath powder and a tag...so I used the beautiful image so darling " fairy seats".

I think you will be like m,e and fall in love with all of the images .

The next project was a small bottle I made for the table beside my mom's lift chair I used the lovely image "Whistful Fairy"

..I wanted to turn them into a attraction in my new home...so I made a small journal book

Here we go
the papers were printed from my purchase at Studio Manu the name of the paper are Never Forget.

This is the cover I added the little post card print of Paris from www.katrinaart.etsy.com
and my little muse from Stampers Anonymous.

My first ACT is on my Never Forget Me papers. This beautiful act is from my wonderful friend Ike. She is like a sister to me and this is a treasure forever now. Bad pun considering the name of the papers lol.

My second beautiful act is from Abby Miller . Placed in the Never Forget Me papers and I added a pink plastic flower and a suitcase tag . On the suitcase tag I used Tim Holtz Dabber mustard seed.

 
The next beautiful ACT came from our Host Kristy Lee, how beautiful is this page. I added the Tim Holtz ideology $4 and black and white dot ribbon.
I call Kristy my little sister..she is so precious to me.Thank you for this fabulous swap :)

This gorgeous ACT and envelope came from Joyce Ireland.This lady is so multi talented she is so amazing.
I added fibers on the envelope and across the top and bottom of the page..as well as green fabric lace on the adjoined paper side.simple beads were placed together and held in place by a Maya Road pin.

This gorgeous ACT is also from Joyce Ireland. "Brave New World" it says. Beautiful. also placed on the  Never Forget me papers.

This lovely ACT is from Crafting Vicky. I added a blue glass heart with a key winder from Tim Holtz ideologies to symbolize her sentiment "my Friend"

This cutie ACT is from Kapree. Look at the darling owl saying "whooo loves you"How precious is that!

This sweet ACT is from Rhonda miller with the cute bee,bike and balloon.

Stampers Anonymous February Jum,bo Tag Swap 2014

Hi there and welcome to my blog Lily and the Lotus.
 Here is a new stamped image to add to my gallery. Ted is fabulous and gave us a new stamp to play with.So the February 2014  swap theme..... is jumbo tags and Girls...so I  decided to add the beautiful Tim Holtz tissue paper Melange to the tag and used many shades of alcohol inks to enhance them. The little Fae and serendipity stamp are also from stampers Anonymous .
I still do not have the means meaning a vagabond to cut my dies :( but hope that will change next month.I have been saving for my own Birthday prezzie.)
 The fence is a Tim Holtz die and I ran out of it..so I used a border from Wendy Vecchi art parts...on one of the tags.
The keys are from Tim Holtz ideologies. well this was interesting...project.

I did this:

1.cut your jumbo tags using manilla folders
2. tear your tissue paper into pieces and ink with alcohol inks..blend sever colors using my color blender.
3. I used Mod Podge front and back of the dried inked tissue paper adhering it to the manilla folder cut tag.
4.I used cereal boxes to heighten my girl and sentiment.
 and I added one image to the base of the girl stamped in blended alcohol ink and stamped the stamp again in staz on jet black and fussy cut the girl.
5. fussy cut the Fae
I colored with markers
6. added some fabric trim with glossy accents so the stiffness would be seen and felt
7.the fence(houses) was first inked with alcohol inks and then I added crackle.
8. Tim Holtz ideology tape was run across the bottom of the die cut.
My fabrics came from flights of fancy
and the keys are ideology.

smeared Inks Day Three Bloody Valentine Blog Hop

I am running late posting today. I fell asleep deep and woke up so late..wow! I have been taking better care of myself this year and I think I am exhausted from caring for my mom.
Went out and had Chinese last night and that did it. so sleepy when we got home and slept until 4 am ...had coffee with son and talked..lol lol and fell asleep.
My offering today is a mixed media journal page of course. I cannot tell you about it until  my post soon at Smeared Ink....it's a secret.
