Lily and the Lotus and A Step Into The darkness May & Challenge Skulls with Delicious Doodles

Welcome to a wonderful challenge with A step In the Dark http://a-step-in-the-darkness.blogspot.co.uk/

My offering for this Challenge is from this wonderful artist Teri  Sherman at http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.com/

I made a journal book from cereal boxes.
I colored the cover in Prisma pencils and each page fron and back was painted with black acrylic and stenciled with negative and postive stencil from stencil girl.
It is bound with black silk cord and tibbons are attached to each page.
The little skull is tied on the cover with a satin ribbon and the image from Teri 's store
pile of bones paper which I added to each page and used as the back inner cover.

 I am looking forward tp see your awesome art.

Welcome to this challenge WHITE
I had to try many things before I found what I was going to do...then I was looking at this beautiful image from her store of Mary and baby Jesus.
aaahhh I thought what can I do with this. Looking into my poor memory I had always associated many of the building from pictures I saw in that time period as what we call stucco today.
I used a very thick hand made paper from Michaels it came in a solid cream color and I used thick gesso and white acrylic.
I used Basic glossy white on the faces and hands and folds where the fabric of their garments would fold.

Delicious Doodles Darkness Tag swap with Helen April 2014

I received my beautiful package from Helen yesterday..she will get mine next week.
I cannot say how I prize my trophies so let me show you why......

Is this not the cats meow ??????????? yes IT IS :) and miz greedy fingers here is so proud I got me a frame last night in fact two frames :)

Now let me show you my awesome gift from my sweet friend...I have to say it was Helen's continual working her job with Fybrmyalgia that inspired me to try my new job at Michaels and she is proud of me :) thank means the world when our friends are proud of us doesn't it.
sorry for looking so tired but I am it has been a testing week..depositions..traveling for mom's morphine mix and getting it to the pharmacy..and getting her to the Dr in Midland who puts it in her pump and home about a hour ago..so..yep I look like crap but the apron doesn't  Thank you so much!!!!

 now my tags to her and the rest is a secret hehehehe
