LilyandtheLotus and a challenge at Words and Paintery February 2016

This is a color challenge.

 
 This is a paper mache box my Mother had started but never finished. My Dad gave it to me recently. She had started it painted in black with gold siding. yuck!

The door is a chip board from um wow studio
The roses were altered by Tattered Angels spray mist from Canvas Corp Brands the paper with the door is from 7gypsies from Canvas Corp Brands and the heart is a embellishment from Canvas Corp Brands made by 7 gypsies. The glitter is from Tim Holtz and sadly I cannot remember where I purchased the mica chips.
The sea shells are from my stash..and it was very important to use the sea shells because my Mother loved the ocean.
The sentiment is from Milton Berel "If opportunity does not knock Build a door" on the 7 Gypsies paper.
The lace on the bottom is from Canvas Corp Brands as well as the ticking in blue and white.
