Good Morning and Happy Valentines! I have so many wonderful friends and each of you are my Valentines in my heart.
I want to start this post with a huge Thank you to Milo and Liz. I so admire their art. I am truly their biggest fan. This past month was difficult. My Dad was having more and more difficulty with his health. We had been in the emergency room constantly for his vertigo. He made a decision to head to my sisters for a visit.A 6 hour drive from our little town here in the southwest. I think he felt like he knew something was very wrong and he wanted to see them again if something happened. He is from a generation you do not tell what to do..they paved the road so they will drive it so to speak. He left the first two days he was fine. The third my sister was at work. She is the top finical international executive for Apple..she makes Apple work another words so needless to say she works all the time.My brother in law was on his last week working for the accounting Dept for the govern…
I am still experimenting with Junk Journals.I do not have the confidence to swap yet, I have not conquered the binding and a few other things yet. First I coffee stained everything and I add a scent to my pages like lavender or roses etc. On this journal I did try to use the gold liner pen on the edges of the pages and found that also would take extreme patience and a very straight edger and it needs to be done long before the pages are added together. In this journal I used quite a few of my stamps, however some I have purchased at garage sales and they are wood with simply "top" and "bottom" written on them. I will try not to miss anything in case you want to add it to your craft supplies. The cover is Tim Holtz paper ,Tsunami Rose image, Canvas Cor…

I am combining day 8 and 9 because my Dad has gone out of town and I do need to rest. I am really enjoying the quiet today and I am going to pile up in my bed with a new Somerset Studio magazine and I will return Sunday night.:) Shell's Journal has been so fun to make and I wanted to say thank you for all your kind words.
As I was showing you yesterday this page is a fold out and there is also a tuck.
This is also a pocket. as you can see by the partial butterfly peeking out.
this is a middle flap page holding a tag and a place to journal behind the tag..
When you turn the little middle page you have this
a place to journal and a blank coffee stained tag a small strip of Halloween paper and a small envelope from Recollections
on the right a journal page 2 tags and a small note piece of paper...all coffe…
