Good morning. I have to confess I have barely tried Dyans art as much as I love it. I think it intimidated me and still does..hahaha BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
I am so honored to be a member of AJED Design Team with http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/
I hope you have joined our group if not here is the linkhttp://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/group/artjournaleveryday
I have been encouraging others to step over their fears and journal! and what is good for the goose is good for the gander ...right?
I have been a Dyan Reaveley "Dylusions" http://www.dyan-reaveley.blogspot.com/
fan for ever. I have another wonderful friend Miranda a fab artist who in my book has mastered Dyans fabulous style of journals ...anyway...my encouragement..we all have people that are our encouragement.
This stamps set is from Dylusions you can find at http://stampersanonymous.com . She is called DoolallyDoris and her item no is DYR34384
ok hope this helps you if you are wanting to try it.
This is far far from good it is a mess hey but I am learning!
isn't she a cute stamp and look at the fun mushrooms
Then I tried some stencils one Dylusions and a Wendy Vecchi
just to try to get some "learning" on textures...
what do you think? I kind of like it...
well I added another stencil by Dyan
I added some Tim Holts tissue paper with musical notes in the circles and outlined with black acrylic
The hands are from a awesome red rubber stamp set from Smeared Ink.Here is the link if you want to join the group there.http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/group/smeared-ink-rubber-club
Now I just wanted to try this ..it is a die cut from Tims collection I stuck on the bottom with gesso
aaahh the cute little footprints..oh this has to be one of my favorites from http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/group/smeared-ink-rubber-club
well here is my try for something new..I will be growing with this endeavor and share as I learn.

Oooh - these are great :-) The top one is very dark and broody and I love the little figure.
ReplyDeleteThis one with the silhouette is gorgeous. Lovely colours on there and I really love the hands and feet prints :-D I think the die cut on the bottom was a stroke of brilliance and it works very well :-D
I have been over to AJED but I still feel very intimidated the journals !! LoL
