welcome to lily and the Lotus and Design Team throw down No 4
Congrats to the winners of DT Throw down no one,two and three...the theme
to make something using Lace and /or Leather.
I chose the specimen Jar new digi set..here are my journal photos.

photo one is made with distress stains and acrylics. I used a brayer and added gesso to give it stregnth. Tim Holtz photo wheels are used in the back ground with black foil placed in each window.
The digi set Specimen Jar was used colored in pencil a strand of leather attached to the side with two crystles and the border is hand sewn.
The lace is molded into the inks and acrylics with gesso some is paper and some is actual fabric lace.

scraped togeather and corner is lace again added on with gesso and acrylic
photo three is more of the awesome digi set again using acrylic inks and gesson paper and fabric lace was added on to the theme

I used inks and acrylics paper lace and fabric lace .

Yea! So glad you finally conquered the Blogger beast. I'm currently wrestling with FB. won't upload for me today. Anyway your project is absolutely immense, Susan! I adore how you used the Specimen jar set (obviously my current fave too). Still drinking in all of the glorious details. Fabulous! xxD

ReplyDeleteSo much thought and effort must have gone into your beautiful art journal. Many layers and colors! The lady image is perfect- mysterious expression. Love all of the textures too.
