Making art with scraps from Junk Journals

Hello.
I have to say I have been so absent in groups, your forgiveness is needed. I am fighting a silent battle I will share with you more in the future. I am getting a good grip on it and life is picking up again.
I started lessons from You Tube making Junk Journals, I made a couple with the Graphic 45 paper , and still had many pieces to use. I decided to grab the same coffee stained cards I did not use in the journal and the flowers from 49 Market and put them all together. I love the out come.
Use your scraps! For anything and everything.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Eight New Tags ...Playing with Stamps again

One thing for sure getting ready for shows takes tremendous time.
It makes you think about what has been successful and what has failed in the past. Each show is different and each one you seem to have a different out come on what pops. I decided to just build walls. Literally building the backdrops is a challenge also..this one is designed and slowly being created  for vintage style tags.  I will share it with you when I am finished.

Since we are rainy and cold I have to work on the art it's self..no outside projects which is ok right now.

So I opened my magazines and books and began a process of designing. From tags cards journals and mixed media I am not selling for anyone but myself in the shows to come..this will give me a idea for our coffee art studio we are designing.

Tim Holtz one of my favorite Muses...the Mage Muse I call him. "Gears cogs metal and the beautiful.
Tim has three wonderful books out that I own..he might actually have more I should checks. ..anyway " A COMPENDIUM OF CURIOSITIES" Vol II, has been my playground..if you own a copy page 49.
Here is a spoiler
His looks better in the book ...that's ok. I had fun trying and mine were unique in their own way. They were the beginning of each of the tags I am sharing with you now. They are listed in my ETSY store with a brief description also.

Most of my stamps are from Stampers Anonymous,obviously..how ever some are lost souls I found in my tub of stamps.

I used Tim Holtz stains, sprays. Walnut, carved pumpkin and wilted violet. Inks I used Distress Vintage photo and peeled paint.

Check out Stampers Anonymous for most of my supplies.

Thanks for stopping in.
